Introduction

Afrirentals is a growing online real estate platform serving Africa and the diaspora. As a Listing Agent, you play a key role in helping property owners gain visibility — without commissions, hidden fees, or complicated contracts.

This role is simple, transparent, and performance-based.

What a Listing Agent Is

A Listing Agent is an independent contractor who represents Afrirentals locally by helping property owners publish their listings on the platform.

You are not an employee, not a broker, and not a middleman.

Your Core Responsibilities

As a Listing Agent, your responsibilities include:

  • Helping owners create an Afrirentals account
  • Guiding them through listing submission
  • Ensuring listings are published correctly
  • Encouraging owners to choose a paid annual listing when publishing

All listings must be published using the owner’s own Afrirentals account.

What You Do Not Do

  • You do not negotiate prices
  • You do not handle payments
  • You do not charge commissions
  • You do not participate in sales or rental agreements

Afrirentals is a listing platform, not a brokerage.

How You Earn

You earn $5 USD for every approved, paid listing that you help bring onto Afrirentals.

Payments are processed directly by Afrirentals, not by property owners.

Growth Opportunities

As Afrirentals grows, active and reliable Listing Agents may be considered for:

  • City Lead roles
  • Regional coordination
  • Country-level representation

This role will serve as a foundation for long-term growth within the Afrirentals ecosystem.
