Overview

The Listing Agent role at Afrirentals is designed to be clear, ethical, and scalable across Africa.

This guide explains exactly what is expected — and what is not.

Daily Tasks

A Listing Agent may:

  • Contact landlords, property managers, or agencies
  • Explain how Afrirentals works
  • Help owners publish listings correctly
  • Ensure listing information is complete and accurate

Outreach (Calling Role)

Listing Agents may reach out to property owners with questions such as:

  • “Are you looking to rent or sell a property?”
  • “Do you want your property visible to buyers and renters across Africa and the diaspora?”
  • “Would you like help publishing your listing online?”

The goal is visibility, not negotiation.

Reporting a Listing

Once a listing is published and paid:

  • Go to the Report Listing page
  • Submit:
  • Listing title
  • Owner name
  • Owner contact (email or phone)
  • Country and city

Afrirentals verifies and processes rewards manually.

Important Rules

  • Listing Agents cannot collect money
  • Listing Agents cannot charge commissions
  • Listing Agents cannot negotiate sales or rentals

Failure to follow these rules may result in removal from the program.
